A trend where a car alarm goes off and whoever is next to the car dances to its beeps. It started in June 2026 with a real home video of a toddler dancing to a car alarm. AI versions turned it into a pet meme: a cat by a red car at night in June, then a wave of dogs in October, among them a German shepherd by a white car and a golden retriever by a red one. The AI cat and the dogs stand up on their back legs and dance. ### What is the car alarm dance original? The original is a real video of a small child dancing beside a parked car when its alarm goes off, which spread through reposts in the first days of June 2026, one of them past 300,000 views. It shows a real child, so it is not shown here and this tool does not copy it. The first big AI version, and the one this page copies, is @aron.der.tuffe's tabby cat by the red car from 9 June 2026. ### Can my cat do the car alarm dance? Yes. Add one photo of your cat, whole body in view, and it takes the place of the viral tabby: it leans on the red car, stands up on its back legs and dances to the alarm, with its own coat, markings and face. ### Can my dog do the car alarm dance? Yes, and that is the version most people post. One photo of your dog, the whole animal in view: it dances upright by the red car like the golden retriever and the German shepherd of the trend, with its own coat, ears and face. Dogs and cats work best; other pets are a gamble. ### Can I do the car alarm dance myself? Yes. Add one clear photo of yourself, full body if you have it, and you take the cat's place at full height: you lean on the car, push off and dance to the alarm in your own clothes. No cat shows in your video. ### How do I make the car alarm dance AI video? Add one photo on this page and press Make. The Car Alarm Dance effect is already selected: 12 seconds, vertical, with the alarm sound. In a few minutes you download the MP4, and it is ready to post. There is no prompt to write. ### Is there a car alarm dance prompt? The creators of the trend never shared one, and the CapCut versions are closed templates. Here the prompt is built in: the clip is sent as the reference, the moves are described second by second as in the table above, and the rules keep your face, or your pet's coat, from the photo. You only add the photo. ### How long is the video, and what format is it? 12 seconds, vertical 9:16, MP4 at 720p (or 480p), with the car alarm sound on it and no watermark. It fills the screen on TikTok, Reels and Shorts. ### How many credits does the car alarm dance video cost? 10 credits at 720p or 7 at 480p on Standard, the same for a person or a pet. The price is on the button before you spend anything, packs never expire, and a failed render is never charged. ### Is the car alarm dance video real? No. The dancer is put into the clip by AI from one still photo; nobody filmed it. The viral cat and dog clips are AI-made too, and the one that started it is a real child who really did dance to an alarm. Keep the AI label on when you post yours. ### Is the car alarm dance a challenge? People post it as the car alarm dance challenge or the car alarm challenge, and there are dance-off versions where two dancers take turns. The rule is simple: the alarm, the car and a straight face. ### Is there a white car parking lot version? Yes. The white car on a wet parking lot is @ccrcshop's German shepherd video from 9 October 2026, shown above. This page has both takes: the red car at night that the cat started, and the white car parking lot of the dog wave. Pick the version above the photo; the price is the same. ### What is the car alarm song in the dance? There is no song. The “car alarm song” is the car alarm itself: the siren, chirps and beeps of a car security alarm, which is why every post sounds a little different. Your video comes with the alarm from the clip it copies, laid over the finished render so the beats match. ### Is there a CapCut template for the car alarm dance? There are many, and most of them need your own footage cut to an alarm sound effect. Here you only need a photo: the AI makes the whole clip, the red car, the night street and the dance included, with the alarm already on it. ### Why does my dog come out with stripes or a cat's face? The clip the effect copies is a tabby cat, and a small or dark pet photo lets it bleed through. Use a clear daylight photo of the whole animal with the face and coat visible and run it again; the prompt tells the model to keep nothing of the cat. ### Is this affiliated with TikTok, Instagram, CapCut or the creators? No. RapVideoAI is an independent tool. The AI makes a new clip that follows the trend's moves and camera with you or your pet in it; it is not affiliated with TikTok, Instagram, CapCut, @aron.der.tuffe, @ccrcshop or @goldenretrieverswitze. ### Can I use a photo of someone else, or of a child? No. Use photos of yourself, of adults who agreed to be in the video, and of your own pet. Never a stranger, a celebrity or a child. Photos are private and used only to make your video. ## What's new on this page - 2026-11-02: Page published: the car alarm dance as an effect for people and pets, with the trend timeline, the two versions second by second and the fixes. ## Related pages - [AI Dog Dance](https://rapvideoai.com/ai-dog-dance): An AI dog dance video in the "Single Ladies" diva dog trend (October 2026): from one photo of a dog or cat, the pet stands front and centre on a dark stage while three backup dancers do a sassy routine behind it; it turns its head on the beat, flips its ears in slow motion and stares into the lens.
