October's AI meme videos all follow the same pattern. Someone takes a clip the internet already knows, an AI model swaps in new faces, and the joke becomes who you put in it. The moves, the camera and the song stay the same. Only the people change.
Below are the seven trends we see people remaking right now, with where each one came from, who it suits, what photos it needs and what it costs to make with RapVideo AI. Every template here puts the trend's song over the finished video, and a failed render is never charged.

1. The Rumpelstiltskin tiptoe dance
What it looks like. A little man in a long tailcoat and pointed, curled-up shoes tiptoes and twirls through an old barn while someone else watches. It looks like a scene from a 1980s fantasy film, and that is the point: it isn't one.
Where it came from. In late August 2026, a few Instagram accounts posted an AI-generated short styled like an old fairy-tale movie, with the character dancing, spinning straw into gold and turning into a prince. At the end of September someone on TikTok set the dance to Riff Raff's 2014 track "TIP TOE WING IN MY JAWWDINZ", and by early October it was all over TikTok and X (Know Your Meme, NBC News). Many people still assume it comes from a real 1987 film. It doesn't.
Who it suits. The friend with no shame, and someone to stare at them. Works well as a birthday roast or a "this is you at every party" post.
Photos. Two: photo 1 is the tiptoe dancer, photo 2 is the onlooker. The dancer gets the tailcoat and shoes from the scene, so any clear photo works.
Length and format. 12 seconds, 16:9, with the Riff Raff track over the clip.
Price. 10 credits at 720p, 5 at 480p.

2. Alors on danse (the white studio)
What it looks like. A plain white studio. One person sits at a piano playing the famous riff, the other hovers around them. Then they both crowd the camera laughing and back away at a run.
Where it came from. "Alors on danse" is Stromae's 2009 single, French for "so we dance" (Wikipedia). The white-studio footage is from a comedy sketch on Jamel Debbouze's December 2010 DVD Made in Jamel, where Jamel pretends to teach Stromae how to write the song. It was staged; Stromae has said Jamel had no part in writing it (NRJ). In late September 2026 AI face-swapped versions of the sketch started going around, and people began putting their own faces in.
Who it suits. Any duo with a clear straight-man and a clown: a band, two coworkers, a parent and a kid.
Photos. Two: photo 1 is the one at the piano, photo 2 is the one cheering them on.
Length and format. 15 seconds, 16:9. It covers the last part of the sketch, from the piano to the laughing close-up to the run back, with the song over it.
Price. 10 credits at 720p, 7 at 480p.

3. Gas Station Dance
What it looks like. Three quick shots at an empty gas station. One person dances wildly on the forecourt, one grins into a phone selfie, one climbs out of the car.
Where it came from. It is a road-trip clip from summer 2024 with Russian creator Mikhail Litvin and his friends Ravshan and Adel, set to Akcent's "On And On" (a fan upload of the clip). It was a fan favorite for two years. Then in late September 2026, AI templates let anyone drop themselves into the three shots, and the remakes spread across TikTok, Reels and Shorts. You'll also see it called the Litvin dance.
Who it suits. A group of three, ideally the same three who were in the car last summer. It also works solo.
Photos. One to three. With three, each friend gets a shot: photo 1 dances, photo 2 takes the selfie, photo 3 gets out of the car. With one photo, you play all three parts. Full-body photos help with the dance and the car exit.
Length and format. 15 seconds, vertical 9:16, with the original song. It's one of two on this list (with Gangnam Style) that come out ready for TikTok's vertical feed.
Price. 10 credits at 720p, 7 at 480p.
4. APT. pink studio
What it looks like. A bright pink room. One person drums, the other sings and dances in front of them, beat for beat with the music video.
Where it came from. "APT." is ROSÉ and Bruno Mars's single released on October 18, 2024. In the video, Bruno plays drums and ROSÉ sings in a pink room (Wikipedia). The title comes from a Korean drinking game. On October 1, 2026, a side-by-side post on X showed the real video on top and a frame-by-frame AI redo with new faces underneath, and the format took off from there.
Who it suits. Couples, siblings, best friends, or anyone with a friend who air-drums at every party.
Photos. Two: photo 1 is the drummer, photo 2 is the singer. You can also use one photo of both of you, with the drummer on the left and the singer on the right.
Length and format. 15 seconds, 16:9, following the first 15 seconds of the music video beat by beat, with the song.
Price. 10 credits at 720p, 7 at 480p.
5. Hotel Lobby
What it looks like. Two people in a bright orange booth, taking turns rapping into one microphone hanging between them.
Where it came from. Quavo and Takeoff's 2022 "Hotel Lobby" performance on A COLORS SHOW. In September 2026 people started using AI to put their own duos in the booth. It's the oldest trend on this list, and people are still making it.
Who it suits. Any pair: best friends, a couple, you and your dad.
Photos. Two, one person in each. They don't need to be taken together.
Length and format. The Original remake is 14 seconds and 16:9, with the real song and moves. It takes about 3 minutes to render.
Price. 12 credits at 720p.

6. Gangnam Style (the street version)
What it looks like. A red-brick street, shot on a phone. One person stands in front with arms crossed and a straight face while the other dances wildly behind. Then they swap, do the horse-riding dance side by side and pile into the lens with jazz hands and a high kick.
Where it came from. "Gangnam Style" is PSY's 2012 single, the first music video on YouTube to pass one billion views. At the end of September 2026 an AI clip of Sam Altman and Dario Amodei doing it on a London-style street went viral, and people started swapping in their own faces.
Who it suits. A pair where one never dances and the other never stops: coworkers, a couple, siblings.
Photos. Two: photo 1 plays it cool first, photo 2 dances first. Full-body photos work best.
Length and format. 15 seconds, vertical 9:16, with the song.
Price. 10 credits at 720p, 7 at 480p.

7. Burning Bridges (Drake's party room)
What it looks like. The party scene from Drake's "Burning Bridges" video: a private dining room with crystal chandeliers, a crowd with metal cups, and you in Drake's place. You point at the lens, tug your collar, point across the room at your friends, shade your eyes with a flat hand on "Where she at?" and wave at the camera.
Where it came from. "Burning Bridges" is track 8 on Drake's ICEMAN, out 15 May 2026. From late September people used AI to swap Drake out of the party clip for characters and themselves, and the versions took off on TikTok in early October.
Who it suits. You and your crew. It works from a single photo, but the versions that blew up brought in a whole group: add two friends and they hype you from the front row.
Photos. One to three, one person each, front-facing, eyes visible. Photo 1 holds the cup.
Length and format. 15 seconds, landscape 16:9 like the original, with the song and the mouth on the words.
Price. 10 credits at 720p, 7 at 480p.

Photo tips for every trend
The same rules apply to all seven. The video can't be clearer than the face it starts from.
- One person per photo. Crop out anyone in the background. Group shots make faces mix.
- Face the camera in even light. Daylight or a bright room. Side angles, backlight and blur make faces drift between frames.
- Nothing covering the face. No sunglasses, masks, caps pulled low or heavy beauty filters.
- Show more than the face when you can. Dance trends show the whole body, and half-body or full-body photos look more natural than tight crops.
- Match photo order to roles. Photo 1 and photo 2 play different parts in every template, so check which is which before you upload.
- Ask first. Only use photos of people who are happy to be in the video.
A 720p template video costs 10 credits (12 for Hotel Lobby), and a $9.99 Single pack has 12 credits. Packs never expire, and a failed render is never charged. See pricing for the current packs and plans.
