1. What This Policy Covers

This policy explains how RapVideo AI at rapvideoai.com (the "Service", "we") handles your information when you visit the site, create an account, buy credits or make videos.

2. Your Photos, in Short

• We use your photos only to make your videos and to keep the Service safe.
• We never publish, sell or use your photos or videos in our marketing.
• Your photos and videos are visible only in your account, unless you share a video yourself.
• You can ask us to delete them at any time.

3. Information We Collect

• Account information: your name, email address and profile picture. If you sign in with Google, Google shares these with us; we don't receive your Google password.
• Photos you upload and the videos, lyrics and settings of each render, including the topic text you type.
• Payment information: purchases are handled by Stripe. We receive the plan or pack you bought, the amount, the date and the payment status, but never your full card number.
• Technical information: IP address, browser and device type, language, pages visited and basic logs. We use IP addresses to prevent abuse, for example to limit free previews and sign-ups per network.
• Messages you send to support@rapvideoai.com.

4. How We Use Information

• To run the Service: sign you in, make your videos, store them in your account and show your credit balance.
• To process payments, grant credits and handle refunds.
• To keep the Service safe: detect abuse, enforce limits and check photos and videos against our rules.
• To send account emails, such as email verification, password resets and receipts. We don't send marketing emails unless you choose to receive them.
• To understand and improve the Service using aggregated usage data.

We do not use your photos or videos to train AI models.

5. How Information Is Shared

We share information only with service providers that help us run the Service, and only what they need:

• AI generation: your photos, the generated lyrics and your settings are sent to our video generation provider (Kie.ai, which runs ByteDance Seedance models) to render the video. Your photos and topic may also be sent to OpenAI to write the lyrics.
• Storage and delivery: Cloudflare stores photos and videos and delivers the site.
• Hosting and database: Railway runs our servers and database.
• Payments: Stripe.
• Sign-in and email: Google (if you use Google sign-in) and our email provider for account emails.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect people's safety or our rights, or as part of a merger or sale of the Service, in which case this policy continues to apply. We do not sell your personal information.

6. Retention and Deletion

• Photos and videos are kept in your account so you can view and download them again, until you delete them or ask us to delete your account.
• Our AI providers may keep the files they process for a limited time under their own policies.
• Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting laws require.
• To delete your photos, videos or account, email support@rapvideoai.com from the address on your account. We complete deletion requests within 30 days.

7. Security

We use HTTPS, access controls and reputable providers to protect your information. No online service is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

8. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, or to object to certain uses. Email support@rapvideoai.com and we will respond within 30 days. You can also stop using Google sign-in for the Service from your Google account settings.

9. Children

The Service is not for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information. Don't upload photos of a child unless you are their parent or legal guardian. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. International Processing

We and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
