🥁 The APT. pink room, starring you two

APT AI Video Generator

Two people, one pink room, the song everyone knows. Photo 1 takes the drums, photo 2 takes the mic, and the AI follows the first 15 seconds of the official video beat by beat. Only one photo of you both? That works too. No filming. 10 credits at 720p, the price of one song.

What's in the 15 seconds

The opening of the official video, move for move, with your faces.

0–3s · Kneeling by the kit

The singer kneels next to the drum kit and starts the song, straight into the camera. Pink walls, pink light.

3–10s · Cheek to cheek at the drums

Both of you crowd behind the kit, faces pressed together, the drummer playing while the singer leans in.

10–13s · Lip close-ups

The camera moves in tight on lips mouthing the words, the quick close-ups the original is known for.

13–15s · Side by side

You end up shoulder to shoulder, doing the little dance together as the beat keeps going.

How to

How to make an APT AI video

Three steps, straight from your phone.

  1. 1

    Pick who plays what

Photo 1 is the drummer, photo 2 is the singer. Or choose One photo of both: whoever is on the left drums, whoever is on the right sings.

  2. 2

    Add clear photos

Front-facing, well lit, nothing covering the face. Each person keeps their own face, hair and outfit from the photo, so pick ones you like.

  3. 3

    Make it and post

15 seconds, landscape 16:9, with the original song. Standard at 720p is 10 credits, the same as one song; 480p is 7. Download the MP4 and share it.

The trend

What is the APT. trend?

The song. “APT.” is a duet by ROSÉ and Bruno Mars, released on October 18, 2024. The title comes from a Korean drinking game called 아파트 (apateu), which simply means “apartment”. The chant from the game became the hook.

The video. The official music video is set in a bright pink room. Bruno Mars plays the drums, ROSÉ sings, and the two share the kit, trade close-ups and dance side by side. It is simple to recognise from a single frame, which is part of why it travels so well.

Why it came back in October 2026. On October 1, 2026, a split-screen post on X put the official video on top and a frame-by-frame AI remake below, starring Sam Altman and Dario Amodei, who run rival AI labs, OpenAI and Anthropic. Two rivals happily sharing one drum kit was the whole joke. Within days people were casting their own unlikely pairs: coworkers from rival teams, siblings who fight over the remote, fans of rival clubs, a boss and an intern. The format never changes, so the fun is who ends up on drums and who gets the mic.

How people make it now. Nobody builds a pink set. You add two photos and the AI plays the opening of the video with your faces. RapVideo AI follows the first 15 seconds beat by beat and lays the matching 15 seconds of the original song over the finished clip.

Photo tips

Better photos, better APT. video

The video can only be as clear as the faces it starts from.

Clear and front-facing

Even light, looking at the camera, one person per photo. Side angles and dim rooms make faces drift.

Nothing on the face

No sunglasses, masks or caps pulled low. The lip close-ups need a clear mouth, and hidden features get guessed.

One photo of both? Keep it simple

Two people, both facing the camera, the drummer on the left and the singer on the right. Nobody else in the shot.

FAQ

APT AI video: questions

Can't find your answer? Email us at [email protected] and we'll get back to you.

What is an APT AI video?

It is a remake of the opening of ROSÉ and Bruno Mars' “APT.” music video with two new people in it. One plays the drums, one sings, in the same pink room. The trend took off in early October 2026, after an AI remake starring two rival AI CEOs went viral, and now anyone can put their own faces into the video without filming.

How do I make one?

Add photo 1 (drummer) and photo 2 (singer), keep the APT. Pink Studio effect selected and tap Make the effect. The 15-second clip is ready in a few minutes.

Can I use one photo of both of us?

Yes. Choose One photo of both. The person on the left plays the drums and the person on the right sings. Both faces should be clear and facing the camera.

How much does it cost?

A 15-second Standard video is 10 credits at 720p, the same as one song, so a $9.99 Single covers it. 480p is 7 credits. Packs never expire and failed renders are never charged. There is no free version.

Does it come with the song?

Yes. The matching 15 seconds of the original “APT.” are laid over the finished video, so it is ready to post.

Why is it 15 seconds, and what shape is it?

It follows the first 15 seconds of the official video: kneeling by the kit, cheek to cheek at the drums, lip close-ups, then side by side. It comes out landscape 16:9, like the original.

Will it look like us?

Each person keeps their own face, hair and outfit from their photo. Clear, front-facing photos give the closest result.

Can I use photos of celebrities, or of other people?

No celebrities, including ROSÉ and Bruno Mars. Photos of other people need their permission, and anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian's consent. Photos are private and used only to make your video.

Is this affiliated with ROSÉ or Bruno Mars?

No. RapVideo AI is independent and not affiliated with ROSÉ, Bruno Mars or their labels. It is a fan trend.

Who's on drums?

Two photos, one pink room, 15 seconds, 10 credits. Then try the same photos as a rap video.
