The short answer

To make a pet rap video, add a clear photo of your pet as photo 1 and its partner as photo 2: another dog or cat, or you. Type one line about them, or leave it empty, and tap Make our rap video. About 3 minutes later you get a vertical clip of the two of them sitting up like rappers, gold chains on, each on its own mic, mouths moving with an original song. A standard 12-second 720p video is 10 credits; the $9.99 Single pack holds 12 credits, and a failed render is never charged. No app, no filming.

What a pet rap video is

It is a short music video where your pet is the rapper. You give the studio a photo of your dog or cat and a photo of its duo, and the AI does the rest: it writes lyrics about them, makes a beat, gives each of them a different AI rap voice and animates both on stage so their mouths move with the words.

Your pet still looks like your pet. The fur, the markings, the ears that never stand up properly all come from your photo. What changes is the attitude: the two of them sit up like a rap duo, with gold chains, a backwards cap and a mic each, on the orange Hotel Lobby booth, the Luxury Lobby or a Studio Booth.

The voices are rap voices made by the AI, not your dog's bark or your cat's meow. That is what makes it funny: a sleepy pug delivering a confident verse about owning the couch.

How to make your dog or cat rap

  1. Add your pet as photo 1. One animal, face toward the camera, good light. A photo taken at their eye level works better than one shot from above.
  2. Add the duo as photo 2. Another pet, or a selfie of you. The two photos do not need to be taken together. If you already have one photo of both, use the one-photo option instead.
  3. Write one line about them. Up to 120 characters, with their names and one true detail. Leave it empty and you get a general hype song.
  4. Tap Make our rap video. In about 3 minutes the video is ready to watch, download as MP4 and post to TikTok, Reels or Shorts.

Pet rap ideas you can type

Real names and one specific habit make the best songs. A few lines to start from:

  • The house rivalry: “Gus the beagle vs Juno the cat, who really owns the windowsill”
  • The crime confession: “Waffles ate a whole sock and the vet bill was $400”
  • The birthday: “Pickles turns 7, still thinks the mailman is a threat”
  • You and your dog: “Me and Bruno, 5am walks, rain or shine, best duo on the block”
  • Gotcha day: “Two years since we found Olive at the shelter, she runs the house now”
  • The snorers: “Two flat-faced dogs, loudest snoring in the building”

The song follows the language you write the line in, so a topic in Spanish gets a Spanish rap.

What you get

  • Your actual pet. Not a cartoon or a stock animal. The rapper on screen is built from your photo.
  • An original song. New lyrics and a new beat written around your line. No real songs, no cloned artist voices, so it is safe to post.
  • Two distinct voices. Each rapper gets their own AI voice and they trade lines, so it feels like a real duo.
  • Sized for social. 12 seconds in vertical 9:16 by default, with square 1:1 and widescreen 16:9 options, and up to 15 seconds (30 on the top model).
  • Works on your phone. Everything runs in the browser. No app to install.

Tips and limits

  • Dogs and cats work best. Rabbits, birds and other pets with a clear, visible face can be tried, but results are less predictable.
  • One animal per photo. Crop out the other pets and the sofa clutter. If the face is small in the frame, crop closer.
  • Faces, not backs. A pet looking at the camera gives the mouth movement something to work with. A side profile or a sleeping curl usually does not.
  • Every render is paid. There is no free preview, because each video costs real money to make. If a render fails, you are not charged.
  • Use photos you own. Your pets, yourself, or friends who said yes. No celebrities.

  • Yes. Write the topic as a birthday, for example “Rex turns 4, wants cake and a nap”, and the AI writes an original birthday rap your dog performs. It is not the Happy Birthday melody.
