🐶 The diva dog dance trend, with your own pet

AI Dog Dance

Add a photo of your dog and it takes centre stage: a dark stage, spotlights, three backup dancers flipping their hair behind it, while your dog stands there completely unbothered, turns its head on the beat, flips its ears in slow motion and stares down the camera. 12 seconds, vertical, with sound. Cats too.

The trend

What is the diva dog dance trend?

The joke. A dance crew does a sassy routine to Beyoncé's "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)", all hair flips and hand waves, and the star of the video is the dog standing in front of them, not moving at all. Every so often it turns its head on the beat, like it is the one dancing.

How it spread. The first versions with a small white dog appeared around 30 September 2026. A golden retriever version passed a million views on X on 3 October, and on 6 October a version with BTS member Jungkook's dog Bam and two other dogs spread across Instagram and X, past a million likes.

Why it is an AI dog dance. Most people's dogs won't stand still on a stage in front of a dance crew. AI makes it in a few minutes from one photo, and the deadpan pet is what makes it funny.

Our version. Your own dog or cat, its own coat and face, front and centre. The video comes with an original R&B beat; add "Single Ladies" from the TikTok sound library when you post.

Four shots, one diva

What's in the 12 seconds

Every render follows the same little routine, so it reads as the trend at a glance.

The stare

A close-up of your pet staring into the lens, totally unbothered, as the beat drops.

The crew

Three backup dancers in black behind it: hip pops, wrist-twisting waves, hair flips, all in sync.

The head turn

Your pet stands still, front and centre, and turns its head left, then right, right on the beat.

The ear flip

A wind machine, slow motion, ears flying, at the exact moment the dancers flip their hair.

The final pose

The crew freezes with one hand up; your pet tilts its head and looks straight into the camera.

The sound

An original sassy R&B beat with handclaps and snaps. Add "Single Ladies" on TikTok when you post.

Casting

Who takes centre stage

Made for pets first: the less your pet moves in real life, the funnier this is.

Your dog

Big or small, fluffy or sleek: it keeps its own coat and face and does absolutely nothing, perfectly.

Your cat

A cat in front of a dance crew, looking bored, is the most natural thing in the world.

Two pets

A photo of each, side by side in front of the crew. Siblings, rivals, best friends.

You and your pet

You and your dog as the two divas in front, the dancers behind you.

Photo tips

Tips for a better dog dance video

A clear face

A sharp, well-lit photo of your pet's face matters most; the first shot is a close-up.

Whole body helps

A photo with the legs and coat visible keeps the size and colour right on the wide shots.

Add the song when you post

Pick "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" in the TikTok or Instagram sound library.

Every take is a little different. A new one costs the same, a failed one nothing.

FAQ

AI dog dance: questions

How do I make my dog dance with AI?

Add a clear photo of your dog, keep Diva Dance selected and press Make. A few minutes later you have a 12-second video of your dog front and centre on a stage with a dance crew behind it.

What is the Single Ladies dog trend?

Videos where a dog stands still in front of a crew dancing to Beyoncé's "Single Ladies", as if it were the lead. It spread in early October 2026, helped by a version with BTS member Jungkook's dog Bam.

Does my dog actually dance?

Like in the trend, it mostly doesn't, and that is the joke: it stands front and centre, turns its head on the beat, flips its ears in slow motion and stares. The crew behind does the dancing.

Does it work with cats?

Yes, and very well. Any pet with a clear face in the photo works.

Will it still look like my dog?

Yes. The coat, colour, markings and face come from your photo, and it stays a real dog on four legs, no clothes.

Does it use the Single Ladies song?

No, it comes with an original R&B beat. Add the song from the TikTok or Instagram sound library when you post.

Can two pets or my pet and I be in it?

Yes. Add a second photo and you get two divas side by side in front of the crew.

How long is it, and what does it cost?

12 seconds. The credits show on the button before you press Make, a failed render is never charged, and pack credits never expire.

Put your dog in the spotlight

One photo of your pet in; a 12-second diva dance with a crew behind it out in a few minutes. A failed render is never charged.
