Single Ladies Dog

Add one photo of your dog and it takes the lead: two dancers do the Single Ladies routine behind it, and on every hair flip your dog whips its head with them, ears flying, then stares down the camera like the star it is. 15 seconds, vertical, with the song. Cats too.

The trend

What is the Single Ladies dog trend?

The joke. Two dancers do the routine to Beyoncé's "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" in a dark studio, and the star of the video is the dog standing in the middle. It doesn't dance. It just whips its head round every time they flip their hair, perfectly on the beat, and goes back to staring at the camera.

Where it comes from. The dance is real: a trio of dancers posted it on TikTok on 15 September 2026 (@beridzelenee, 6.1 million views by 18 October). From 28 September, AI versions swapped the dancer in the middle for a dog; the earliest we could find is a golden retriever puppy in pink pyjamas by @gogoretriever, now at 24.8 million views.

How big it got. The most watched take is a long-haired dachshund by @king_odiee (3 October, 44.4 million views by 18 October). In early October Holicare Park, the pet care centre of BTS member Jungkook's dog Bam, posted Bam and two other dogs doing it, tagged #ai; Jungkook shared it from Bam's account and some fans criticised him for posting AI.

What this effect does. It redraws one of the golden retriever takes beat for beat with your pet in the middle, the two dancers behind, the same camera on the floor and the same 15 seconds, and lays the song over the finished video.

Beat for beat

What happens in the 15 seconds

The same moves and timing as the viral take, so it reads as the trend at a glance.

The stare

Your pet front and centre, close to the lens, bobbing its head on the beat and looking unbothered.

The two dancers

Behind it, two dancers do the Single Ladies routine: hands on hips, wrist twists, arms up, kicks.

The head whips

Every time the dancers flip their hair, your pet whips its head round with them, ears and fur flying.

The floor camera

The phone sits on the floor looking up, spotlights glowing behind, just like the original.

The final pose

The dancers throw their arms up in a V and your pet holds a proud stare into the lens.

The song

"Single Ladies" laid over the finished video, so the head whips land where they do in the original.

Casting

Who takes centre stage

Made for pets: the less your pet moves in real life, the funnier this is. One photo, one star.

Your dog

Big or small, fluffy or sleek: it keeps its own coat and face and whips its head like a pro.

Your cat

A cat in front of a dance crew, flipping its head on cue, is exactly as good as it sounds.

Or you

A photo of you works too: you stand in front with your hands on your hips and whip your hair with the dancers.

Photo tips

Tips for a better Single Ladies dog video

A clear face

A sharp, well-lit photo of your pet's face matters most; it is close to the lens the whole time.

Whole body helps

A photo with the legs and coat visible keeps the size and colour right.

The song is already in

When you post, TikTok or Instagram may match it to the official sound, and you can swap that in from the app.

Every take is a little different. A new one costs the same, a failed one nothing.

FAQ

Single Ladies dog: questions

What is the Single Ladies dog trend?

AI videos where a pet takes the middle spot in a real Beyoncé "Single Ladies" dance video and whips its head every time the two dancers flip their hair. The dance was posted by a trio on TikTok on 15 September 2026; the pet versions started at the end of September and the biggest has over 44 million views.

Is the Single Ladies dog video real?

No. The pet versions are AI: a dog or cat is swapped into a dance video of real dancers. Some posts carry an AI label or #ai, others don't, which is why the comments are full of people asking. If you post yours, label it as AI-made, as the platforms ask.

Did Jungkook make the Bam video?

No. It was posted by Holicare Park, the pet care centre Bam goes to, tagged #ai. Jungkook shared it from Bam's account in early October 2026, and some fans criticised him for posting an AI video.

How do I make the Single Ladies dog video with my dog?

Add one clear photo of your dog, keep Single Ladies Dog selected and press Make. A few minutes later you have the 15-second video with the song, ready to post.

Does my dog actually dance?

Like in the trend, it mostly doesn't, and that is the joke: it stands front and centre, bobs its head and whips it round on the hair flips. The dancers behind do the dancing.

Does it use the Single Ladies song?

Yes. The song is laid over the finished video, so the head whips land on the same beats as the original. Label the video as AI-made when you post, as the platforms ask.

Does it work with cats?

Yes, and very well. Any pet with a clear face in the photo works.

Will it still look like my dog?

Yes. The coat, colour, markings and face come from your photo, and it stays a real dog on four legs the whole time.

Can two pets be in it?

Not in this one: like the viral golden retriever take, it has one star in front. Make one video for each pet.

How long is it, and what does it cost?

15 seconds. The credits show on the button before you press Make, a failed render is never charged, and pack credits never expire.

Put your dog in the spotlight

One photo of your pet in; 15 seconds of the Single Ladies dog trend, with the song, out in a few minutes. A failed render is never charged.
