The trend

What is the Toc Toc dance?

The song. "Toc toc" is a 2015 party song by the French entertainer Patrick Sébastien: "toc toc, on frappe à ma porte", someone is knocking at my door. The dance is in the name: you knock on the air with both fists.

The dance. French media credit TikTok creator Nooah Prvv with making the dance go viral in summer 2026. Then came the costumes: groups of guys in blond bob wigs and brown suits, dead serious, hopping up to the phone one after another to knock at the lens. One of those videos passed 9.5 million views at the end of September.

The AI wave. By October the AI versions took over, with whole rows of identical bob-haired dancers, people searching for "toc toc ai dance", "ai guys dancing toc toc" and "Kicékéla", and a flood of app templates.

Our version. No group to gather, no wigs to buy: one photo becomes all four dancers, each in a different wig and suit. It is not any creator's character, and the video comes with its own accordion tune; add the song on TikTok when you post.

Four dancers, one face

What's in the 12 seconds

Every render follows the same routine, so it reads as the Toc Toc dance at a glance.

Four of you

A blond bob and a brown suit, a black bowl cut and burgundy velvet, a ginger bob in plum, dark curls in olive green. Same face every time.

The hop

One at a time, each dancer hops up to the camera on one foot, completely deadpan.

The knock

Two knocks at the lens with both fists, shoulders bouncing: toc toc.

The line-up

All of you side by side for the last knock, on the beat.

The look

A plain community hall and a still phone camera at chest height, just like the videos that went viral.

The sound

A bouncy French accordion party tune with a knock sound on every toc toc. Add "Toc toc" from the TikTok sound library when you post.

Casting

Who joins the troupe

The joke works best with a straight face and a lot of wigs. Use photos of your own children only; anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian to agree.

Just you

Four of you, four looks. The fastest way to be your own dance group.

Two friends

A photo of each of you, and you take turns at the camera: you, them, you, them.

A parent and a child

One photo of the two of you. Family group chats love this one.

Your cat or dog

Your pet in a bob wig and a suit, hopping up to knock at the lens. It stays your pet, just very well dressed.

Photo tips

Tips for a better Toc Toc dance

A clear face

The face is the one thing that stays the same under four wigs, so use a sharp, front-facing photo.

Deadpan wins

A neutral expression in your photo makes the straight-faced knock even funnier.

Add the song when you post

The video has its own accordion tune; add "Toc toc" from the TikTok sound library and line the knocks up.

Try another take

Every take dances a little differently. A new one costs the same, a failed one nothing.

FAQ

Toc Toc AI dance: questions

What is the Toc Toc dance?

A TikTok dance to Patrick Sébastien's 2015 song "Toc toc": dancers hop up to the camera one by one and knock on the air with both fists. In September 2026 groups in bob wigs and 1970s suits made it a global trend, and AI versions followed in October.

How do I make a Toc Toc AI dance of myself?

Add one clear photo and press Make. You get 12 seconds of four of you, each in a different wig and suit, knocking at the camera in turn, then all four together.

Is this the Jean Phil character?

No. Jean Phil is someone else's AI character. Here all four dancers have your face, in four different retro looks.

Does it use the Toc Toc song?

No, it comes with an original accordion party tune and knock sounds. Add "Toc toc" from the TikTok or Instagram sound library when you post.

Can two of us be in it?

Yes. Add a photo of each of you, or one photo of you both, and you alternate: dancers 1 and 3 are one of you, 2 and 4 the other.

Can my cat or dog do it?

Yes. Your pet gets the wigs and the suits and hops up to knock, and it stays clearly your pet.

How long is it, and what does it cost?

12 seconds. The credits show on the button before you press Make, a failed render is never charged, and pack credits never expire.

Do I need an app or a prompt?

Neither. It runs in the browser on a phone or a laptop; the room, the wigs, the moves and the music are already set.

Toc toc. Who's there? You, four times.

One photo in; a 12-second Toc Toc dance troupe of you out in a few minutes. A failed render is never charged.
