The trend

What is the Talk Dirty dance AI trend?

The clip. A fan films a concert from the crowd on their phone: the dance break of Jason Derulo's "Talk Dirty" (2013, featuring 2 Chainz), a row of backing dancers in yellow-and-black and red-and-black jackets, white spotlights, tall flame jets along the edge of the stage. The joke is who is dancing out front.

The swap. In the AI versions the lead dancer is someone who has no business being there: a friend, a dad, a grandma, a corgi up on its hind legs. The earliest one we could find was posted on TikTok by @guamboyj on 17 October 2026, captioned "Wish I got a better angle!". From there CapCut templates and tutorial accounts spread it; one tutorial by @yyyss7575 had 350K views by 27 October, and a corgi take by @soylolalaya 40.8K.

Not to be confused with. People also search it as "Talk Dirty to Me", but the song is Jason Derulo's, not Poison's 1987 rock song, and it has nothing to do with the Dirty Dancing lift trend. Which concert the fan clip was filmed at, and by whom, has not been confirmed.

What this effect does. It redraws the dance break beat for beat with your photo as the lead: the same walk-out, spotlight bounce, low stance, side slides and arm pops, the same crew, flames and handheld zooms, 15 seconds long, and lays the clip's live sound over the finished video. The source is turned into a line drawing first, so no face from the original goes into your video.

Beat for beat

What happens in the 15 seconds

The same moves and timing as the viral clip, so it reads as the trend at a glance.

The walk-out

You step out of the line of dancers to the front of the stage.

The spotlight

The phone zooms in while you bounce alone in a white spotlight.

The first flame

You drop into a low, wide stance and swing your arms as the first flame jet shoots up beside you.

The crew

You and the jacket crew hit side slides, hip twists and sharp arm pops together while flames burst along the stage.

The finale

One big flame, a flash of the LED wall, and the whole line steps forward with you in front, crouching low and bouncing.

The live sound

The clip's live concert audio is laid over the finished video, so your moves land on the beat.

Casting

Who to put in the Talk Dirty dance

The less they look like a backup dancer, the better it lands. One photo, one lead.

You

Your concert cameo: the night you headlined the Talk Dirty tour, in the clothes from your photo.

Grandma or dad

The family group chat favourite. Ask them first, then watch them out-dance the crew.

Your dog or cat

Up on its hind legs in the spotlight, with its own fur and face. The corgi takes are some of the trend's most shared.

Photo tips

Tips for a better Talk Dirty dance video

A clear face

Front-facing, evenly lit, eyes visible, no sunglasses or masks. Stage lights are harsh, so a sharp face helps the most.

Show the body

A half-body or full-body photo keeps your outfit and build right while you dance.

One subject per photo

One adult or one pet. No group shots, children, celebrities or strangers.

Every take is a little different. A new one costs the same, a failed one nothing.

FAQ

Talk Dirty dance AI questions

What is the Talk Dirty dance AI trend?

AI edits of a fan's phone video of a concert dance break to Jason Derulo's "Talk Dirty": the lead dancer out front is swapped for someone else, like a friend, a grandma or a dog, while the backing dancers, flame jets and spotlights stay. It took off on TikTok and CapCut from 17 October 2026.

What song is in the Talk Dirty dance trend?

Jason Derulo's "Talk Dirty" featuring 2 Chainz (2013), as heard live in the fan clip. People often search it as "Talk Dirty to Me", which is a different song by Poison. Your video comes with the clip's live sound already in.

Do I need CapCut or a dance video of myself?

No. One photo is all it takes: the moves, the stage, the crew and the sound come from the effect. There is no template code to find and no prompt to write.

Can I put my dog or cat in the Talk Dirty dance?

Yes. Add one full-body photo of your pet and it leads the dance up on its hind legs, keeping its own fur and face. One animal per photo.

Is it the same as the Dirty Dancing AI trend?

No. The Dirty Dancing trend recreates the lift from the 1987 film. Talk Dirty is a concert dance break with a crew and flame jets.

Whose photo can I use?

Your own, or an adult who agreed to it, or your pet. Don't upload celebrities, strangers or children. RapVideo AI is not affiliated with Jason Derulo, 2 Chainz or the creators of the original clip.
