Beat for beat

What happens in the 10 seconds

A two-person routine in perfect, slightly ridiculous sync, the way the redraws do it.

Disco finger points (0–3s)

Side by side at the counter, both of you point up to the ceiling and down to the floor, hips swinging, totally in sync.

Hip bump and twirl (3–5.5s)

You bump hips in the middle, a puff of flour goes up, and you both spin on the spot.

Rolling arms and kick-step (5.5–8.5s)

Arms roll over each other like a 70s dance show, then a kick-step to one side and back.

The bread roll pose (8.5–10s)

You freeze in a big finishing pose, one of you holding a fresh bread roll up to the camera like a trophy.

The setting

A warm 1970s home kitchen: wood cabinets, orange and brown tones, flour on the counter and a tray of rolls fresh from the oven.

The sound

An original upbeat funk-disco groove with bass, strings and claps, already in the video.

How to

How to make the Let's Groove dance with AI

No choreography to learn and no partner to drag into the kitchen.

  1. 1

    Add two photos

Photo 1 dances on the left, photo 2 on the right. One photo of the two of you works too. People or pets.

  2. 2

The effect is already picked on this page: 10 seconds, vertical 9:16, with the groove. 10 credits at 720p, shown on the button.

    Make it and post

It takes a few minutes. Download the MP4 and post it to TikTok, Reels or Shorts. A failed render is never charged.

The trend

What is the Let's Groove Kronk dance trend?

The scene. People search it as the Kronk dance: in Kronk's New Groove (on DVD from 13 December 2005), Kronk and Ms. Birdwell dance in a kitchen to Earth, Wind & Fire's 1981 hit “Let's Groove”. It's goofy, sweet and completely in sync.

The redraws. The first known fan redraw was by the artist Yuramec (@YuramecX3) on X on 1 April 2024, with characters from Spooky Month. After that it became an animation meme: swap in any two characters and keep every move.

The 2026 comeback. In late August 2026 it exploded again, led by a FNAF version by @sc128_blueblur (about 1.7 million plays), followed by Half-Life and Marvel Rivals versions. Know Your Meme added an entry on 2 September 2026.

What this effect does. It puts you and a friend (or your pet) in an original kitchen disco routine inspired by the trend. No Disney characters, no film footage and not the real song: an original funk-disco track and your own faces.

Photo tips

Better photos, better groove

Both dancers are in frame the whole time, so each face has to read from a distance.

Clear and front-facing

Even light, looking at the camera, one person or pet per photo. Blurry or side-on photos make faces drift.

Left is left

Photo 1 dances on the left, photo 2 on the right. With a photo of you both, you keep the sides you're standing on.

Grown-ups and pets only

Use yourself, adults who agreed to be in it, or your pets. No photos of children or celebrities.

Try another take

Every take is a little different. A new one costs the same, a failed one nothing.

FAQ

Let's Groove Kronk dance AI: questions

Can't find your answer? Email us at [email protected] and we'll get back to you.

What is the Kronk dance?

The kitchen dance from Kronk's New Groove (2005), where Kronk and Ms. Birdwell dance in sync to Earth, Wind & Fire's “Let's Groove”. Since 2024 artists have redrawn it with other characters, and in late August 2026 it became a full-blown meme again.

How do I make my own Let's Groove video?

Add two photos (or one photo of you both), keep Let's Groove selected and press Make. In a few minutes you get a 10-second vertical video of the two of you doing the kitchen disco.

What moves are in it?

Disco finger points up and down, a hip bump, a twirl, rolling arms, a kick-step and a final pose with a bread roll held up to the camera, all in sync.

Do I need two photos?

It's a duo routine, so two dancers is the point: two photos, or one photo with both of you in it. Photo 1 dances on the left.

Can my pet be my dance partner?

Yes. A dog or cat dances on its hind legs next to you and stays a real animal with its own fur and face. Two pets work too.

Will it look like the cartoon?

No, and that's on purpose. It's a realistic video of the two of you in an original 1970s kitchen with a routine inspired by the trend, not the Disney characters or the film's animation.

What music is in the video?

An original upbeat funk-disco groove made for this effect and timed to the moves. It is not Earth, Wind & Fire's song; if you want that, add it as a sound when you post.

How long is the video, and what format?

10 seconds, vertical 9:16, MP4. It fills the screen on TikTok, Reels and Shorts.

How much does it cost?

10 credits at 720p on Standard. Packs never expire and failed renders are never charged.

Can I make it in HD or 1080p?

Yes. Tap “Change model, resolution, length or format” in the studio; every option shows its credits before you press Make. 1080p is on Pro and Ultra only.

Is this affiliated with Disney?

No. RapVideo AI is independent and not affiliated with Disney or Earth, Wind & Fire. Use photos of yourself and people who agreed to be in the video; photos are private and used only to make it.

Let's groove tonight

Two photos, a 70s kitchen, a synced disco routine and a bread roll finale. 10 seconds, 10 credits.
