The AI trends list has the current trend templates, each with its own page.
How to make one
- Choose the format. A rap if you want words about your friend; a trend if you want the moment everyone recognises.
- Get the photos. One clear, front-facing photo per friend. Their profile photo often works. See best photos for AI rap videos.
- Write the topic (for raps). Name, detail, angle: "Mike, the friend who's always 'five minutes away'".
- Make it. Most videos are ready in about 2 to 3 minutes.
- Send it in the group chat first. Then post if everyone's happy.
Make the joke land
- Roast the habit, not the person. Lateness, cooking, dancing: yes. Looks, weight, money problems: no.
- Inside jokes beat generic ones. The detail only your group knows is what gets the laugh.
- Short is funnier. 10 to 15 seconds, one punchline.
- Put yourself in it too. A video with you and your friend reads as fun; one that targets only them can read as mean.
Ground rules
- Ask first. Only use photos of friends who agreed to be in the video.
- No minors in public posts. TikTok, for one, doesn't allow AI likenesses of anyone under 18.
- Label it when you post. Realistic AI videos need an AI label on TikTok and Instagram. See does TikTok allow AI videos.
- Never make it look real when it isn't. No fake confessions, fake news or fake endorsements.
Questions
Can I make a video of a friend who lives far away? Yes. With two photos, the people don't need to be in the same place or the same photo.
Is it free? Full videos are paid with credits. A standard rap video is 10 credits, and $9.99 buys 12. A failed render is never charged.
What's a good group gift? A personalized birthday song or a birthday rap starring the birthday person, sent at midnight.
